Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

The Stoic Developer ("StoicDev", "we") shares one Stoic reflection a day for people who build software, through this website, a free book on GitHub and our accounts on X, LinkedIn and YouTube. We do not ask for, sell or store personal data.

What we collect

Nothing directly. This website has no accounts, sign-up forms or comments, and we do not keep a list of visitors.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google may set cookies and process technical data such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit. We only look at totals, never at individual people.

You can read Google's Privacy Policy, block cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Our social media posts

Our daily posts on X (@StoicDevelop), LinkedIn and YouTube are published by an automation. It only publishes our own content: it does not read, collect or store data about the people who see or interact with the posts. Each platform's own privacy policy applies when you use it.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
